About Our Company

Established in June 2009, People United of Louisiana LLC provides behavioral health services, support coordination, education, and community-based support designed to help individuals and families navigate complex needs. Our work brings together practical guidance, advocacy, and connections to community resources, with a growing focus on youth prevention education, including human trafficking awareness, recidivism prevention, and workforce development opportunities. We believe effective support starts with listening to each person’s circumstances, respecting their choices, and helping them identify realistic resources and next steps.

Our Mission

Our mission is to educate, support, and advocate for individuals and families by connecting them with appropriate resources, information, and opportunities that can strengthen their ability to move forward. Through person-centered support, prevention education, and community partnerships, we help youth and families better understand available choices, recognize risks, and build practical skills for school, work, and community life. We are committed to providing respectful, informed services that address behavioral health, social, educational, and occupational needs while encouraging greater independence and participation in the community.
